Good morning, Friends!
It's been a busy week...doctor appointments...finishing up the quilt top for a friend...and I'm so happy it is done!! It was just the top piece...I told her that was all I would do. Her SIL used to work in a quilt shop and knows people, if not herself, that will finish it. Two and a half months...and one of those months, Larry and I both, had the flu. Not fun! I finished it yesterday and she's picking it up today.
The fabrics...she bought. It was hard piecing this thing together because I simply didn't like the colors! Anyway...
Well, I suppose that's all the news at this time...
Hope you are happy and well wherever you are.
So, until next time...may your bobbin be full and your tension just right!

Your quilt looks good and I'm glad you are going to do one for yourself, and how about your new iron - a pink one which looks great.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margaret! I love it!
DeleteThat is an excellent tip and I'll have to give it a go. Thanks. Glad you finished the top. I get what you mean about the colours. But still, very well done.
ReplyDeleteIron is on my list. I have a cheapy one I bought as a place holder for now. Glad you love yours.
Guess what? Today I got my Creative Grids XL Stripology and OMMMMGGGGG. This is sooooo nice. I can make jelly rolls without elbows. AND, I made eye make-up reusables tonight and wow, so nice to cut them on the Stripology.
Heaven I tell you. Heaven.
That's all from me. Still re-decluttering. Going well. Cheers and boogie boogie.
Oh my goodness girl! I have been seriously tempted to buy one but with all it does, I'd surely get turned around! Lolol It looks like a wonderful tool though...! Can't wait to see a project from you!!

It is worth it if you wanna make any strips or strips and squares or even triangles. The XL worth it. I also have the 90 degree triangle and that's fun too. Really, both tools save time and back pain.
DeleteWhen you say get it turned around? I'm not sure what you mean but I will say, it's easy to use and has number, stars and little blocks for cutting. So I know, just where every 2.5 inches are and so on.
Really, really cool tool for anyone looking to make strips and other things. Just so great.
60 degrees. I meant to write.
