Good morning fellow seamstresses! lol
Hey, I'm not good enough yet to take on that handle so I guess we just need to get on with it...
Our grandson and his girlfriend came by for a visit! We were thrilled to see them. He's stationed in Arkansas in the Air Force. We get to see him once or maybe twice a year, at most.
I had asked him, and Cailin, which colors and patterns they would like Gamma to make them each a quilt...Will picked the black and gray and Cailin picked the brown.
This baby quilt needs to be done by the end of January for a baby shower. My Granddaughter Samantha asked if I'd make her one, for her friend.
I still need to do the ruffle and binding.
Until next time, hope you all had a sweet Christmas and will take care for the New Year's drunks...uhhh...imbibers...on the highways.
Just be safe out there!
I love black and grays with even white and a pop of something. Have a few TBS projects for the winter. So fun. LOVE your backing on this new blog Donna. Cheers, Ivy.
ReplyDeleteThanks sweetheart…I may even throw in some pink…lolol

ReplyDeleteNice photo there of your grandson etc.
I know! Too many things to do…hope you have a Happy New Year!
DeleteWhen I saw the quilt pieces, I thought how much I liked the one your grandson chose but then I scrolled past their picture and saw the one his wife chose and then I decided I adore them both!
ReplyDeleteAwww...thank you! Now, I just need to get them made! lolol
